George W. has learned that playing golf during a war just “sends the wrong signal”.

Pro golfer Tiger Woods has a new house - a $65 million ocean-front Hamptons estate:
Located on exclusive Gin Lane, Tiger Woods’ estate is on nearly six gated acres with a 13,200-square-foot Colonial Revival main residence, a 7,500-square-foot guesthouse and a four-car garage with staff quar ters.
The lush grounds feature an oversized seaside pool with spa, a tennis court, a lily pond and professionally groomed gardens.
No, that’s no mistake. Tiger Woods’ retirement plan will reach $1 billion by the time he turns 60.
If Woods keeps winning at his current rate, enjoys a nine percent annual return and captures just seven FedEx Cups in his career, he could reach $1 billion in retirement payouts courtesy of the PGA Tour Inc.
… if the PGA right this moment started handing Tiger a dollar bill every second of every minute of every day, it wouldn’t reach a billion until 2039.
Even without this retirement plan, Woods is well on his way to becoming the first American billionaire athlete. He might accumulate several billion. In 2006 Forbes reported he cleared $100 million in on- and off-course revenue.
But even if he found a way to spend every last penny of that fortune and his own personal retirement savings, he might have $1 billion coming to him after he turned 60 thanks solely to the contributions of the PGA. Golfers are independent contractors and not employees of the PGA. But the governing body, in lieu of a traditional pension, offers contributions based on a number of performance variables to a retirement fund that each player controls.
I love tennis!

Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal completed his hat-trick of French Open titles with his 6:3, 4:6, 6:3, 6:4 victory over Roger Federer. Federer, the world’s number one tennis player, has won every Grand Slam title three times or more except this one at Roland Garros, which he has not yet won at all.
Rafael Nadal was both mentally and physically superior to Roger Federer right from the beginning of the match. Federer struggled with his forehand and first serve throughout the match and he only won one of the 17 break points he had against Nadal, leaving him as the inferior player who had missed many chances to gain the lead. Nadal is the deserved winner anyway as he was the more constant player of the both.
Justine Henin won the final match against Ana Ivanovich with a score of 6:1, 6:2. The match took only 65 minutes. This is Henin’s sixth Grand Slam title since she first won the French Open in 2003. Henin gets 1,000 points and $1,000,000 prize money for being this year’s French Open champion. Congratulations!
By the way, this is the third consecutive French Open she could win. The 23-year-old Justin Henin, the world number one in women tennis, is the first player to win three successive Roland Garros titles since Monica Seles in 1992.
