Highest-paid television writer

Did you know that Seth MacFarlane, creator of Family Guy and American Dad, is the highest-paid television writer? After two or three years of negotiations he reached a $100 million deal with Fox to keep Family Guy and American Dad running on Fox until 2012. Didn’t know that? Well, now you do. :)

WGA Strikes

Writers are still striking in Hollywood and at Broadway, leaving actors, movie makers and TV presenters speechless:

Panic Room Script

Panic Room is a great thriller directed by David Fincher and written by David Koepp. Fincher has the talent to capture people’s primal fears on screen, which is one of the reasons why his dark thriller movies are so compelling, in my opinion. His newest picture: Zodiac.

I read David Koepp’s Panic Room screenplay two or three months ago and just re-read it last week. Koepp is a great screenwriter, well-known for having penned Jurassic Park, War of the Worlds and Spider-Man inter alia. You can read the Panic Room script here.

All right, Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up.
