Before losing your valuable attention to the informative documentaries I’m going to post starting tomorrow, I’d like to let you know about the result of the little experiment I conducted on this blog throughout the last 7-14 days.

The result is simple: Celebrity news is trash, and trash pays!

Don’t feel offended if you love reading stuff about Orlando Bloom, Britney Spears, Pamela Anderson or even about the former “King of Pop” Michael Jackson. If celebrity rumors and photos are for you, so be it. Consume as much as you can and you’ll lead a fulfilling life.

To me, however, those flat “news” articles are about as appealing as Queen Mum running through the streets NAKED! What I found out when publishing rumors or almost newsworthy texts about Hollywood’s poor celebs, is that there is a huge market for celebrity news content. If you’re good at writing that type of content and getting the latest hints and information early on you’re a winner. You’ll be able to attract thousands of readers a day and you’ll make lots of money from your website’s traffic.

That’s not for me. But there is a reason why Gawker, Defamer and Co. are raking in so much dough.

That’s what I found out by the end of this week. As announced earlier today, SMOKY/GLASS will get back to “normal”, if that is possible at all, and next week you’ll get the chance to watch hopefully compelling documentaries on different topics handpicked by me.
